What is this guide and who is it for?

Grievances, or problems relating to work, are sensitive issues. The purpose of a grievance procedure is to enable employees to raise grievances relating to their employment in order to seek solutions and to enable the employer to try to resolve grievances as quickly as possible. This resource covers a range of areas including principles around how employees should raise grievances, grievance meetings and appeals.

Although written for Cooperatives, this model will be useful to all employers.

What will I learn?
