Community Ownership Fund
The Community Ownership Fund is now closed. There will be no further application windows on the COF programme.
Since 2021, the Community Ownership Fund has awarded, in total, over £135 million to 409 projects across the UK, with £93.4 million allocated to 283 projects across England, over £22 million allocated to 57 projects in Scotland, £8.8 million to 30 projects in Wales and around £11.4 million to 39 projects in Northern Ireland.
The government remains committed to the communities' sector and community empowerment.

10 leading community support organisations came together to combine their knowledge and skills to help groups apply to the Community Ownership Fund. The consortium covered the UK and shared its deep knowledge base and experience of working with organisations that develop a range of community assets.
