A new Technical Support closure date has been announced in anticipation of the post-2018 Neighbourhood Planning programme.

The Department for Communities and Local Government are expecting to continue the Neighbourhood Planning programme past March 2018. Confirmation of the details of the new programme of support will be revealed in due course.

In anticipation of this new programme, these are the closure dates for Grants and Technical Support under the current 2015-18 programme.

Technical Support

  • All Expressions of Interest for Technical Support must be completed by 1 March 2018
  • Applications for Technical Support must be received by 5 March 2018
  • All decisions on Technical Support applications will be made and applicants informed by 31 March 2018.

The closure date for Grants remain the same: groups can make applications for Neighbourhood Planning Grants to be spent this financial year until 31 January 2018. These grants must be spent by 31 March 2018.

From February 2018 it is anticipated that groups will be able to apply for grants for the next financial year (after 1 April 2018) under the new post-2018 support programme.
