‘Love where you live’: My Community film competition

Love-where-you-live_Online

Do you love where you live? Or is there something you’d like to see change?

My Community is asking communities and individuals across England to tell us why they #LoveWhereYouLive and how they have made their neighbourhoods even better in a short three minute video.

Anyone can enter from across England, and there are three prizes to be won.

MyCommunity.org.uk and the My Community Network work to help you ‘love where you live’ by providing you with the tools to take action through the community rights and My Community programmes.

Prizes

1st prize: £700 for your local community (in vouchers of your choice)

2nd prize: £200 for your local community (in vouchers of your choice)

3rd prize: £100 for your local community (in vouchers of your choice)

How to enter

Upload your video to Youtube, Daily Motion or Viddler and send the video URL to [email protected] to enter. We will email you when your video is live in the ‘Love where you live’ video gallery.

Entries can be voted for by the general public through the ‘Love where you live’ video gallery. These votes will determine the shortlisted videos. The shortlist will be judged by our ‘Love where you live’ judging panel – Tony Armstrong, CEO at Locality, a representative from Media Trust and Miriam Levin from DCLG.

Competition closes 30 October at midnight.

Please read the ‘Love where you live’ Terms and Conditions before entering the competition. Open to residents of England only, all ages.
